On 14 March 2023, INDEED is invited to the Community for European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS) Fighting Crime and Terrorism (FCT) workshop on Europol’s new role in Horizon Europe in Brussels. The workshop, presented by DG HOME, aims at bringing together representatives of Europol and of ongoing EU-funded research projects related to the fight against crime and terrorism. The goal of this workshop is to present the new role of Europol in Horizon Europe, related to the Europol’s amended Regulation, and to stimulate the discussion about possibilities of cooperation with EU security research projects in the light of this new role.
