On 17 June 2024, INDEED will participate in the EU Knowledge Hub: Radicalisation Prevention 2.0, a High-level Conference that will take place in Brussels to launch the Knowledge Hub.

The European Commission, in December 2020, presented the Counter-Terrorism Agenda for the EU. This included the establishment of an EU Knowledge Hub on the prevention of radicalisation.

This initiative aims to provide enhanced support for Member States in effectively addressing radicalisation. The Hub’s objective is to promote a coordinated EU-level approach and offer concrete services and products to assist experts in Member States and priority third countries in their efforts to prevent radicalisation and counter violent extremism.

This conference will be hosted by Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson. It will include panel discussions on the challenges and opportunities for effectively preventing and combating radicalisation in Europe.
