Webinar: Gender, Ethics and Societal Aspects of P/CVE Evaluation
25 June 2024, 10:30-12:00 CEST
The INDEED Webinar on “Gender, Ethics and Societal Aspects of P/CVE Evaluation” will provide a concise overview of the current knowledge and existing gaps in GELSA within the realm of Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE). This session will delve into practical applications of GELSA in P/CVE work and evaluation, with a special focus on integrating gender and societal perspectives. We will also discuss the importance of addressing the needs and vulnerabilities of specific groups affected by radicalisation (prevention), offering insights into more effective and inclusive evaluation methodologies.
The webinar will also provide the opportunity to listen to practitioners’ perspectives and insights on the importance of addressing gender, ethical, and societal aspects in P/CVE and De-radicalisation programming and initiatives; and the importance of engaging with these lenses in evaluation.
