On 4-6 October 2023, INDEED is invited to the 14th European Society for Prevention Research (EUSPR) Conference in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The theme of this edition is ‘Optimizing Prevention Infrastructures’ and the keynotes and special sessions will focus on discussing the challenges facing prevention science.  During the conference, several aspects of strengthening prevention infrastructures and systems will be explored, including ways to improve interventions, enhance decision-making processes, optimize funding, and professionalize the workforce. The conference aims to connect research with practical needs and find ways to bridge the gap between the two.

Teresa Silva, a member of the INDEED Advisory Board, will be part of a symposium with members of the European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN) during the session “Towards evidence-based crime prevention in the European Union”, which will be held Friday, 6 October at 14:30 CEST.

During the panel, she will talk about her work titled “Practical challenges on Evidence-Based Crime Prevention”.
